Scoach was set up in 2007 as a joint venture between SIX Swiss Exchange and Deutsche Börse AG and quickly became the leading European exchange for structured products. From the very beginning Scoach has sought to make structured products more transparent, explain things, create a basis of trust and set standards. Scoach Switzerland was honoured for its efforts with the special prize at the Swiss Derivatives Award 2012.
SIX terminated the joint venture with effect from 30 June 2013 due to the lack of synergies between the two markets. Since then Scoach Switzerland Ltd has been a 100% subsidiary of SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd. Scoach Switzerland Ltd is a stock exchange under Swiss law and is directly supervised and regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA. Products traded on the Scoach platform go through the regulated listing procedure at SIX Exchange Regulation and meet clear investor protection requirements. Trading is subject to clear and strict rules that provide for transparent and fair dealings for all market participants. SIX Swiss Exchange provides neutral monitoring of the market and trading to ensure compliance with these rules. This regulated market ensures equal treatment of issuers and investors alike.
Scoach provides a wide range of monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly publications and introductory literature for interested investors. Register for free to ensure you are always up to date.
