Scoach is a SIX Group / Deutsche Börse AG joint venture that introduced trading in structured products in January of 2007. Scoach operates a Frankfurt-based exchange for the EU countries and one in Zurich for Switzerland. Within months, Scoach became Europe's leading exchange for certificates and warrants.
Scoach Switzerland Ltd is a securities exchange under Swiss law. Because it is not licensed to admit issuers and securities to trading, Scoach conducts trading only in products that have gone through the regulated listing procedure of SIX Exchange Regulation and fulfill clearly defined requirements regarding investor protection. In order to meet the needs of a growing derivatives market, SIX Exchange Regulation supports the admission process with its automated Web application known as Connexor Distribution (once IBT).
All structured products admitted by SIX Swiss Exchange are subsequently traded on the exchange platform of Scoach Switzerland Ltd and are subject to strict trading rules that ensure transparent and fair dealings for all market participants. Compliance with those trading rules is monitored by the unbiased Surveillance & Enforcement unit of SIX Swiss Exchange. This regulated marketplace vouches for the equal treatment of issuers as well as investors.
